Acraea violae (Fabricius, 1793)
(Family Acraeidae)
This family consists of only 2 species found in the entire Oriental Region. Acraea violae is chiefly found in the Indian subcontinent and has been spread to the labouring Thailand and Malaysia. While the other Acraea issoria is recently recorded in Wu Kau Tang, Hong Kong. The male and female are similar. |
