Zeltus amasa (Hewitson, 1865)
(Family Lycaenidae)
This genus is represented by a single species in the Oriental Region. 2 subspecies are recognized in Thailand. This species is characterized by two long white tails extended from its hindwing. Sadly the tails were broken from the butterfly shown in the picture. However, the azure blue forewings are clearly shown . This butterfly is dimorphic. |
